Tremayne House : Helston

Tucked away down a forgotten Cornish lane close to Frenchman's Creek stands Tremayne, above fields which fall gently to meet the densely wooded banks of the Helford River. The overgrown smugglers' paths in Tremayne Woods are carpeted with bluebells in the Spring.

This much loved exquisitely decorated family home has a warm and informal atmosphere, with huge inviting sofas, log fires, fresh flowers and fabulous food. Relax and enjoy Juliet's vast collection of design, garden and cookery books in the comfort of the library with a Cornish cream tea. Alternatively, completely unwind in La Mouette (the featured suite) with its stunning sitting room opening onto a private sun-drenched balcony garden. Tremayne's long garden continues to delight guests, whilst the recently landscaped life garden includes another of Anthony's exciting new designs.

Juliet is passionate about her garden and interior design, which is featured in books and magazines, and is delighted to share her decorating tips. Anthony, apart from being an environmental water engineer and designer of garden water features, is very happy to advise on the best places to visit and the excellent restaurants in the area.
