A 17th Century House where Izaak Walton regularly stayed to fish in the nearby River Dove and collected material for the Compleat Angler. It is now a luxury hotel set in its own grounds, standing on a magnificent site with views of Dovedale, Thorpe Cloud and surrounded by rolling hills in the picturesque Peak District of Derbyshire.
